Hibiscus Garden Circle presented a grant to R.B. Hunt School's first grade teacher Jeffie Bennett to fund a bulb planting project.
"She and her students experimented (by) pre-chilling some bulbs and just planting others," Lois Hannabury-Dano said in an e-mail.
