A Spot of Color

This is my first "phone photography" challenge in a month-long workshop on taking and editing photos with your smart phone.

I'll give it two thumbs up! A month long class on phone photography? Is there that much to it? Hmmm. I must be missing something...

It doesn't have as much how-to as I hoped, but plenty of detailed app reviews that are very nice. The daily challenges are more subject related. This photo is from the "From where I stand" challenge - take a photo that includes your feet yet makes a statement about you or your environment. Don't you love my lime green garden clogs - and one of the few things actually blooming in our overgrown backyard?
